WORKSHOP CONTENT

We look at how early man evolved; from nomadic people to settled hunter/gatherers and the beginnings of farming. How did they hunt? What did they eat? How important was the discovery of flint and fire? The children will become immersed in this strange early existence learning to communicate in a world without words and exploring how Stonehenge was built and its significance.

WHAT TEACHERs SAY...

Lots of new words, new facts and new hunting tactics. We really enjoyed becoming Stone Age people and gathering food, killing a huge mammoth and making fire using flint. We have lots of new knowledge to tell parents!

GUILDFORD HIGH SCHOOL

The workshop gave a really hands on learning experience for the whole year group. They loved going back in time and experiencing life as a hunter. Their follow up work was of a far higher standard as a result. Thank you.
