WORKSHOP CONTENT

Flying to the Nile in 2528 BC, we explore what life was like for the average, poor Egyptian.  Becoming farmers, the children will discover what ancient Egyptians believed in, what they wore, how they worked, how they got water, what they ate and what arduous tasks were expected of them. The life of a slave, the afterlife and mummies are all part of the experience too! Suitable for KS1 and KS2.

The visuals and the dramatisation helped the children empathise and understand. The positive praise and sticker rewards were very motivating and the children responded well.
