Victorian Seaside

When Queen Victoria decides that everyone deserves a bank holiday, a well-to-do family leave the city and go on a train journey to the seaside. Joining the day trippers on this new fangled steam train, we discover how vibrant and exciting that day must’ve seemed away from the dirt and noise of the city. Strolling along the prom, breathing in the bracing sea air, watching Punch & Judy, building sandcastles and eating fish and chips out of paper are just of a few of the fun things we all get up to! Did everyone have a bathing machine? Did they really swim with so many clothes on? As we leave the seaside and return home, there’s a quiz at the end to keep everyone happy!
