We learn how people were ‘volunteered’ as sailors and discover the grim realities of life on board a fighting vessel. Battening down the hatches as we prepare for battle, fire the canon and fight for Victory. When the smoke clears and the guns are silenced we, finally, mourn the fallen hero.
